AWAKE YOU THAT SLEEP - Will we obey His voice? Tonight at IYC 2024, Crossfire Youth Pastor Paris Ragan preaches on the awakening of believers as he reads in the Books of Romans, Ephesians, Jeremiah, and Revelation. Pastor Paris says the church needs an awakening, which starts with repentance of sin, and then we must sell out for Jesus Christ. When we seek the glory of the Lord, we will not want the things of this world. His city is set high on a hill, and Jesus Christ is on the throne. That is the city we should long for. Believers need to humble themselves and pray, and be obedient to the ways God has laid out for His children. We need to put away doubtful habits, and to have a radical expression of our faith. When we trust in His way, which was provided at the Cross, we will be revived from the inside out. Brother Paris says an awakening will be the result when we have a complete and total surrender to Him; that is, being crucified with Christ so He may use us to reach the lost and build His Kingdom, which is all for His glory.
